Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 8 dropped recently and it is safe to say that this month's chapter was rather slow when it comes to advancing the plot. That is to be expected, however, given that the last few chapters have been packed with quite a lot of action, and a fast-moving story. This month's Boruto chapter took things rather slow, and fans got a proper look at the Shinju finally moving, and at the same time, the people within Konoha taking the next step as well.

Boruto Could Get Canceled And Here's Why
The Boruto Manga could be coming to an end earlier than expcted.
While all that was certainly interesting, one of the key details that was dropped in Boruto: TBV chapter 8 was Himawari's special power. Her powers have been alluded to for quite a while now, and this month's Boruto chapter finally confirmed them to the fans.
Himawari's Power Teased By Daemon
Himawari did not play much of a role at the beginning of the Boruto series. This was simply down to the fact that she was way too young to be involved in the major arcs of the story. At the same time, Boruto Part 1 was nearly fixated on the characters of Kawaki and Boruto, and any other character hardly got any focus. Thankfully, things are better to be moving in a different direction when it comes to Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. In this manga, quite a lot of attention seems to be given to the side characters as well, and that is one thing that fans are glad about. Of course, one of the most important side characters in the Boruto series is Boruto's very own sister.
After the 3-year timeskip, she has grown quite a lot, and fans know that she holds quite a lot of tremendous power within herself. This was confirmed in the story at first by Daemon, who is known to be one of the strongest individuals in the series. Even before the timeskip, Daemon knew that Himawari was very special. In fact, Daemon believed Boruto to be absolutely no match for him, even though Boruto Uzumaki held the power of an Otsutsuki inside of him. Daemon believed that Boruto couldn't hold his own against him, however, he mentioned Himawari to be an individual strong enough to rival him.
This was certainly a very intriguing moment for the fans to witness, as it was a foreshadowing of what was to come in the future. 3 years later, Himawari has trained her skills to the next level, and it is incredible to see how far she has come. She can spar against the likes of Chocho and the remaining Team 10, and that just goes to show her level of skill. Of course, her special powers have not been revealed in the story just yet, but, Boruto: TBV chapter 8 finally gave readers a glimpse of what she is truly capable of.
The Shinju Seek Out Himawari
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 8, fans finally saw the Shinju move out in an attempt to get to their goal. Fans know that Jura in particular is searching for Naruto Uzumaki. Once he arrived outside of Konoha, along with Hidari, Jura started looking for Naruto. This was not much of a surprise to the fans, given that they know that Jura wants to consume him. However, what was truly surprising was the fact that Jura was fully convinced of the fact that Naruto was within the village. Both Jura and Hidari started looking for Naruto, with Jura even going as far as to say that Naruto is a Jinchuriki and possesses the power of a Tailed Beast. The fact that Jura could very well sense the Tailed Beast inside of him, that too in close proximity, meant that Naruto was around.

Boruto: Every God Tree Clone, Ranked By Strength
Boruto introduced some powerful antagonists, called the god tree clones. Here's how they compare in terms of strength.
To the fans, this was quite confusing, given that it was clear in the story that Naruto Uzumaki was sealed away by Kawaki. Furthermore, what was even more confusing was the fact that Kurama had effectively died in the battle against Isshiki. His death meant that Naruto was not a Jinchuriki anymore. As such, Jura's statements were quite confusing to the fans, that is, until the very end of the chapter finally hit. The shinobi who he was looking at and believed to be Naruto Uzumaki turned out to be Himawari, simply because she possessed the chakra signature that he was looking for.
Himawari's Tailed Beast Chakra
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 8, it has essentially been confirmed that Himawari possesses the power of a Tailed Beast. Himawari has a Tailed Beast inside of her and that is why Daemon once called her to be very powerful, and now, why Jura is seeking her out. The fact that this chakra signature matches with that of Naruto Uzumaki essentially confirms that she already has the power of Kurama inside of him. Whether he has other Tailed Beast powers inside of her or not remains to be seen. It must be remembered that Naruto had the chakra of every single Tailed Beasts inside of him in even Boruto, and he could make use of their powers. For now, Himawari is only confirmed to have the power of Kurama. Whether she will have the power of other Tailed Beasts or not depends on what the author wants to do with the character.
More importantly, Himawari already having the powers of Kurama means that inside of her might be a Tailed Beast, or at least a different version of Kurama that the fans have never seen before. It could also be a new Tailed Beast created from the chakra of Kurama. Fans will have to wait and see what the author is going for here. Regardless, Himawari is now a confirmed Jinchuriki, or, at the very least, an individual with Tailed Beast chakra.
Is Himawari A Jinchuriki?
Given that Jura called Naruto a Jinchuriki for having Tailed Beast chakra, and the implication that Himawari is the one who possesses this Tailed Beast, it is essentially confirmed in the story that Himawari is a Jinchuriki. Fans will most likely find out about her innate abilities soon. She will likely have the power of Kurama inside of her, and this power, as fans know, will allow her to access incredible abilities. Of course, if the previous scaling of the series is still upheld, then having the power of Kurama should not be a threat to the likes of the Shinju clones at all.
These clones are much stronger than even Kawaki and Boruto, and that in itself means that they should surpass the likes of Naruto in terms of strength. If Naruto was no match, then Himawari's Tailed Beast powers should not be a match as well. However, then, one needs to consider the statement made by Daemon. According to Daemon, Himawari could match him and that is a very damning statement to make. It suggests that whatever power hides inside of her is so great that it surpasses even an Otsutsuki. Hopefully, the author will focus more on this aspect of the story in the upcoming chapter and fans will get a proper look at her abilities.
Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 8, is set to be March 20, 2024.
