More offers from Costco
Not to take away from Inferno's Costco thread but the Cardinal Roadhouse 1/3 Angus burgers will be on sale starting Monday at 19.99 instead if 24.99. These are my go-to burgers: just perfect size and flavor, just add whatever toppings/sauce. Also the Black Diamond cheese slices are going to be 5.99 instead of 8.49 and the Frito-Lay munchies are at 5.49 instead of 7.49--Perfect for the after Mother's day BBQ.

For frozen burgers these are actually pretty good, I like the loose pack of the beef. Thanks OP

Thanks op - ramping up for BBQ season.
I find the burgers in the roadhouse boxes are always better tasting than the Kirkland ones in the bag stacked ontop of each other.

They were $21.99 last year on sale for $16.99. Prices have gone up.

Totally agreed, i can't confirm 100% but i find they also stay "fresh" longer. It could be the way its packaged vs the Kirkland ones.

Three meat-packing plants turn out 85% of Canada’s beef, two of them were shutdown due to outbreaks of COVID-19. There is a backlog of cattle to be processed.

Should put the date of the sale in the title since it is not active pricing yet.

Never tried sous vide for a burger but yours look very good. You need to defrost first I assume or just partially? Is that cheese or an egg on top? I used to get mine with the “works” when I was working in Australia - they added a fried egg and also a slice of beet which was really good.

I noticed the price increase back in February when I bought a box.

I had these before, thought they were pretty bad. They have a "butcher's grind" type composition but they're nowhere even close to how good the similar looking "Free-From" PC burgers were. And by were I mean the old ones 'cause PC changed those to a bunch of garbage a while back too.
Putting your own burgers together may be a bit more expensive and slightly more time consuming but would recommend it over these. I'm not trying to be "that guy" either, I still entertain frozen burgers too, but only the really good ones and these are not really good IMO.
No longer posting on RFD. Will answer PMs from time to time, if anyone needs help/advice/etc.

No defrosting. Just frozen patties bagged and dropped into water bath. I melted some cheese on the patty after searing, then put a fried egg and some caramelized onions on top. I made 3 burgers for 2 of us just in case, but eating one was already extremely filling...

I did like the KEG burgers which I’m not sure are still sold at Costco.
