One-Pot Olive Gardens Five Cheese Ziti
This pasta recipe was made for a busy life. It takes minutes to prepare and only dirties one pot! Yep, you heard that right. This is a copycat recipe of Olive Garden’s famous five cheese ziti is also a one-pot wonder! Pair it with other simple sides and you will have a homemade meal ready in minutes for your family. We absolutely LOVE to make and eat this creamy five cheese ziti!
Let’s get cooking! In a large skillet combine the chicken broth, whipping cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and dry ziti pasta. Cover the dish and bring it to a boil on medium heat. I used a 5.2-liter nonstick skillet. Once to a boil, uncover and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Stir the pasta occasionally during this entire process.
Now, add the pasta sauce and mix well. We used Prego Traditional spaghetti sauce. Then you will add the parmesan and mozzarella cheese slowly, stirring as you go. After it is all melted and thoroughly incorporated, all you need to do is let it sit for five minutes. This gives the pasta time to absorb the sauce and thicken.
Done! In less than 20 minutes you have a main dish that everyone will love. This easy five cheese ziti pasta recipe is perfect for a crazy schedule without compromising on taste. Garnish with some fresh parsley and sprinkle of parmesan cheese for a picture-perfect dish!
This pasta pairs well with a fresh salad and your favorite garlic bread. Want to add a little summer and sweetness to this hearty pasta dish? This amazing Berry Delicious Salad will do the trick! It will add all the greens you need to eat guilt-free. Enjoy!

Just made this for the second time in the last week! My 14-year-old son loves it! I’m just curious why it’s called five cheese when there’s only two cheeses. Anyway, it’s delicious & will be added to our rotation.Reply

Hey Shannon, That’s awesome! It’s definitely a family favorite here too. It’s called ‘five cheese’ because it tastes like that of Olive Gardens Five Cheese Ziti but it’s one-pot and so much less work! Enjoy!

This says five cheese ziti. I counted two types of cheese. What am I missing?Reply

I can understand your confusion. It tastes like the Olive Garden Five Cheese Ziti but truly has only two cheeses for a quick take on a beloved dish that tastes like the real deal. Enjoy and Thanks!
