How do I use this keto almond flour pizza dough when it’s cooked?

Easy! Add your sauce, cheese, and toppings, and then bake it at 375° F for 8-10 minutes. That’s it!

What can I use for a low carb pizza sauce?

You can always grab a sugar free version of a red sauce for your keto pizza. But my two personal favorites are 1. Spinach Pesto and 2. A balsamic and olive oil blend (you can try it out on this Prosciutto Arugula Pizza!). Another option is to find a recipe for keto red sauce.

Prep Time: 8 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 18 minutes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Butter a 10" pizza pan.
  2. Add the mozzarella and cream cheese to a microwave safe medium bowl. Pizza Crust Low Carb (5)
  3. Microwave the cheeses for 60 seconds. Remove and stir with a fork. Return to microwave and cook for 30 second intervals as many times as needed until cheese is melted and stretchy.
  4. Add the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Pizza Crust Low Carb (6)
  5. Knead into the cheese until all ingredients are incorporated (be careful, it may be hot!). Pizza Crust Low Carb (7)
  6. Knead the egg into the dough, using wet hands if it's sticky. This should take about 3 minutes to get the egg completely kneaded into the dough.
  7. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a flat surface. Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough.
  8. Roll the dough out 1/4" thick between the parchment papers till it's the shape and size of your pan. Pizza Crust Low Carb (8)
  9. To put the flattened dough on your pan, peel off the top parchment paper. Place the pan upside down on the dough. Place one hand on top of the bottom of the pan and one hand underneath the parchment paper. In one swift movement, flip the dough and pan so that the dough is on the pan.   10. Bake at 375° F for 8-10 minutes until the dough is slightly golden. Pizza Crust Low Carb (10)

Notes

When you're finished with the dough, you can go ahead and place whatever sauce and toppings you like on the dough and then bake again at 375° F for 8-10 minutes.

      Yes! I freeze them all the time. Just bake the crust without the toppings, allow it to cool completely, and then put in a sealed container. Then you can just pull one out, put sauce and toppings on, and bake as normal. This Goat Cheese Pizza with Prosciutto and Arugula has been a favorite of mine, if you need topping suggestions!
